Klemens Koehring

Klemens Koehring is a London-based actor for screen, stage and voice work and presenter with 12 years of professional experience. After growing up in his native Germany, he spent his formative years in such diverse places as North America, Southeast Asia and the UK, where he graduated with a First Class BA Honours in Media Performance from the University of Bedfordshire and also trained in the Michael Chekhov Technique with Graham Dixon and Sarah Kane. He obtained a Diploma in Voice-Overs from the London Academy of Media, Film & TV and undertook further acting and voice training with the renowned coaches Stephane Cornicard, Dave Fennoy, Dian Perry and Yvonne Morley. In addition, he received presenter training with the TV Training Academy at Pinewood Studios.

Bilingual in German and English, Klemens has performed in international productions in both languages. His key screen roles have included the episode lead of Gottlob Bidermann in TV docudrama series Nazi Megastructures: Russia's War on National Geographic UK, the lead character of the German Pilot in Dying Light (which was the opening film of the 2017 Cardiff International Film Festival, where it was nominated for Best Welsh Short Film), the character of Chief Pathologist Dr Wild in the feature-length horror drama Molly Crows (which won Best Drama at the 2013 Portobello Film Festival), the lead role of Optician in the SelectSpecs TV Commercial and the role of Tybalt in the music video Babyfoot Romance (winner of Best Music Video at the 2015 Limelight Film Awards).

On stage, Klemens has played such varied roles as Paris in Romeo and Juliet at The Windsor Globe, Banquo in Macbeth at The London Theatre, Pasha Selim in the Mozart opera Die Entführung aus dem Serail at West Green House Opera and Sir Walter Raleigh/Prince Ludwig in Blackadder II at The Hexagon.

Klemens is an established voiceover artist in German and English with a smooth, confident and charismatic voice. Due to his versatile delivery from informative/serious/assured to enthusiastic/upbeat/wacky, he has worked across all major genres of voice work. He has voiced a wide range of video games (including the award-winning and UK-chart-topping Sniper Elite franchise), TV & online commercials and promos (including Duracell Ultra Power for the German-speaking markets since 2010 and regular work for such TV channels as Cartoon Network, Disney Channel, Nickelodeon and MTV), documentaries for TV channels including Discovery and History, audio guides for iconic attractions (e.g. Guinness Storehouse) as well as radio commercials, animations, corporate videos, e-learning and language learning programmes. Moreover, he has done ADR dubbing work for feature films and TV dramas.

Klemens has been the live presenter of events at prestigious venues including the BFI Southbank and the Royal Academy of Arts and he has presented commercials and corporate videos for such high-profile clients as Hewlett-Packard and Deb Group.
